On this map you can see Condeixa which is just south of Coimbra,then below that is Rabacal,where there are other Roman remains and artifacts in the Museum. Directly to the east is Penela, another fortified town,with a Castle worth a visit, surrounded by the old town,which gives it even more charm.

Directly south of Rabacal is Santiago da Guarda, and this highlights what must have been a main route for the Romans,running North/South, through Portugal
